Vivian Puerta, a C-suite professional with 24+ years in leading high-impact projects aligned with Sustainable Development Goals, is known for her dedication to education and sustainability. She notably contributed to UNESCO’s Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) framework for 2030 and spoke at significant UNESCO meetings. As CEO of the EPM Foundation, she’s earned acknowledgements like the Best Green Library of the World from IFLA in 2023, and her foundation’s “My name is Earth” program has been recognized for advancing SDG number 4.

Erik Boekesteijn is Senior advisor at the National Library of the Netherlands. Library Avenger. Board member of StoryHouse, Chester UK, Fellow LIS Syracuse, USA, Consultant PL 2020 and founder of PL 2030 in Brussels. Facilitator and consultant for IFLA. Presenter, motivator, musician and author. Erik has worked with architects such as Zaha Hadid, Francine Houben, Stewart & Hollenstein and others on the design and development of libraries in many countries around the world. Awards: LJ’s Mover and Shaker of the Library World 2009, Best Librarian in the Netherlands 2015.

Jan Holmquist is committed to globally impacting how libraries can actively advance sustainability through the Sustainable Development Goals. With extensive experience as a library director in Denmark and New Zealand, he’s known for innovative projects like 23 Mobile Things and Buy India a Library. Jan also advises on European library advocacy. Currently leading Holmquist Consult, Jan offers his expertise as an international advisor in library, learning, and leadership, aiming to enhance libraries and cultural-learning institutions worldwide. Jan was LJ Mover & Shaker 2014.
